Jathedar Hawara condemns suicidal attack on Kabul’s Gurdwara

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara has  strongly condemned the suicidal attack on Sikh Sangat carried out at Gurdwara Guru Har Rai Sahib with grenades and bullets by ISIL affiliated militants.

In a statement released by the chief spokesman of Bhai Hawara Committee Professor Baljinder Singh, he has said that the entire world is suffering with the pandemic of coronavirus and in this critical situation Sikhs are doing the service of humanity with free food and medicines but on the other hand, enemies of humanity are attacking the innocent Sikhs, which is very painful.

It may be recalled here that more than two dozen Sikhs and eight others were killed by the Islamic State’s militants in a suicidal attack at Gurdwara Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji in Afghanistan’s national capital Kabul on March 25. Eight others were left injured in this attack.
