Day 3: Explosives found outside Kabul’s Gurdwara Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Two days after the deadly attack on Afghan Sikhs in Kabul, mines have been recovered outside Gurdwara Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji. Notably, more than two dozen Sikhs were killed in a suicidal attack on this Gurdwara Sahib on March 25.

It is learnt that the local authorities have asked Sikhs to remain inside their homes and not to come outside as the Army is working to diffuse the explosive.

“Gurdwara Sahib in Kabul once again under siege. The terrorists had planted mines outside Gurdwara Sahib while the Sangat is trapped inside. Army has been called to detonate the mines. Sikhs are made to face such horrendous situation in Afghanistan,” wrote DSGMC president Manjinder Singh.
