To save humanity from Coronavirus, Jathedar Hawara directs Sikh Panth to offer prayers at Akal Takht

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Amid looming threat of coronavirus outbreak’s third stage in India, the Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara has directed whole Sikh community to pray to the Almighty Lord by reciting ‘Japuji Sahib’ at Sri Akal Takht Sahib today.

Notably, Bhai Hawara was appointed Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib on November 10, 2015 by the Sarbat Khalsa and he is imprisoned in Tihar Jail of Delhi at present.

Bhai Hawara has said in a statement released by Professor Baljinder Singh Morjand that we should pray to the Almighty Lord in this critical situation as our religion teaches us to help and pray for all in need.

He has also appealed the Sikh diaspora to offer prayers by reciting the ‘Mool Mantar’ for the healthy life of whole humanity.
