CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The campaign of installing solar and planting various types of plants in the parikarma of Sri Darbar Sahib Muktsar Sahib has been on-going since March 3.
Sant Seva Singh of Khadoor Sahib and Chief Secretary of SGPC Dr. Roop Singh had started this campaign to beautify the parikarma of the holy shrine while promoting purification of the environment through plants.
Speaking with Sikh24, Dr. Roop Singh said that this project was initiated for the purification of the environment. “As part of this project, various fruit and floral plants will be planted here over the next few days,” he added.
Various Sikh and SGPC leaders were present at the time when the campaign was started.
