Iran’s supreme leader asks India to stop massacre of Muslims

:dateline:On March 5, Iran’s supreme leader Sayyid Ali Hosseini Khamenei has asked the Indian government to put control over extremist Hindu outfits involved in recent violence occurred in India’s national capital New Delhi. He has also said that Muslims all over the world are distressed due to the recent anti-Muslim violence occurred in Delhi.�

This statement came two days after Iranian ambassador to Delhi Ali Chegeni was summoned by India to raise strong objection over Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif’s remarks on Delhi violence.

“The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre of Muslims in India. The govt of India should confront extremist Hindus & their parties & stop the massacre of Muslims in order to prevent India�s isolation from the world of Islam,” tweeted Khamenei on March 5.�
