:dateline:The newly appointed state incharge of AAP Jarnail Singh has taken the charge today. He arrived at Amritsar today and paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib. He was accompanied by AAP’s Punjab president Bhagwant Mann and other leaders.
On this occasion, Bhagwant Mann said that now they have come here to pray for success in Punjab after Delhi. He said any body, who wants to come with them for the welfare of Punjab, will be welcomed.
Mocking on the Congress, Bhagwant Mann said that now even the petrol pump employees say to check zero congress on the petrol pump meters. He said that the Punjab CM Captain� Amarinder Singh had gone to Delhi for the campaign of congress but came back after seeing that it was difficult to win in Delhi.
It is pertinent to note here that Jarnail Singh is an MLA from Tilak Nagar constituency in Delhi and he has been appointed as In-Charge of Aam Aadmi Party’s Punjab unit.
He has said that he would do everything possible to convince annoyed leaders. He said that after enchanting the name of Almighty, he will interact with party MLAs and leaders.
It is noteworthy here that Jarnail Singh has admitted the mistakes made by his party in the last assembly polls and has promised of not repeating these mistakes again. He says that it not announcing the name of Chief Minister’s in 2017’s assembly elections was a big mistake. So, the name of the Chief Minister candidate will be announced in advance for 2022 elections.
He claimed that people of Punjab were unhappy with the Congress government because of under-development of Punjab and the Punjabis also do not want to elect the Shiromani Akali Dal now.
“The public of Punjab is in search of a political change. The Punjabis, who are tired of fake promises, are now excited to form a functioning government,” he added.�
