Indian Parliament suspends seven MPs including Amritsar�s Gurjit Aujla for unruly conduct

:dateline:Seven parliamentarians have been suspended from the lower house of Indian parliament for their unruly conduct. Congress parliamentarian from Amritsar constituency Gurjeet Singh Aujla�s name is also among these parliamentarians.

The other six parliamentarians include Gaurav Gogoi, TN Prathapan, Desn Kuriakose, Rajmohan Unnithan, Manick Tagore and Benny Behnan.

Meenakshi Lekhi, the presiding officer of India�s low house, named these MPs during the afternoon hours following which Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi moved a resolution under Rule 374 A of lower house proceedings recommending suspension of the seven MPs for the rest of the budget session. The resolution was passed by a voice vote in favor of it.

It is noteworthy here that these parliamentarians had torn papers and thrown them at the chair.
