:dateline:On February 27, Table maestro Zakir Hussain paid obeisance at central Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib along with his family members. He paid obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib almost after three decades.
Interacting with media at Information Center of Sri Harmandir Sahib, Zakir Hussain said that the spiritual environment of Sri Harmandir Sahib conveys the message of peace, affection and equality. “Guru Sahib’s words have infused power in Sur and it can be realized here that the power of weapons doesn’t hold any value in comparison of the power of Sur,” he added.
Zakir Hussain further said that he wishes that he should come to pay obeisance here every year and spend a whole day while listening Gurbani Kirtan here.
Zakir Hussain and his wife Antonia Minnecola were honored with a golden model of Sri Harmandir Sahib and Siropaos on this occasion. ��
