Dhindsa attends wedding of Sikh prisoner Daya Singh Lahoria’s son

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Senior Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa, who is in limelight these days for raising voice against Sukhbir Badal’s dictatorship over Shiromani Akali Dal, paid visit to Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria’s home in village Bhural on February 15 to attend his son’s wedding. Dhindsa spent almost an hour in Lahoria’s home and congratulated the newly wedded couple.

Interacting with media, Dhindsa said that the Shiromani Akali Dal as well as other Sikh organizations had made efforts for the release of Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria. He added that he will approach the Union government of India seeking permanent release of Bhai Daya Singh Lahoria.

Jathedar Ajit Singh Chanduraayiaan, Muhammad Tufail Malik, Hardeep Singh Khattra, Jaswinder Singh Khalsa, Amrinder Singh Mandian, Jatinder Singh Maholi, Dr. Jagtar Singh Jaggi, Sukhminder Singh Manki, Taranjit Singh Bapla, Jaspal Singh Kukku Jhaner, Joginder Singh Saahi (Canada), Gurmail Singh Chehal Kuthala etc. were also present on this occasion.
