:dateline:Former parliamentarian Rattan Singh Ajnala and his son Amarpal Singh Bony today rejoined Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) after undergoing meeting with SAD (Bada) president Sukhbir Singh Badal at their residence in Amritsar district.
Notably, the duo father-son was expelled from the party in November, 2018 for raising voice against Sukhbir Singh Badal for distracting Shiromani Akali Dal from Panthik agenda.
Later, they became a part of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Taksali) constituted under the leadership of Ranjit Singh Brahmpura and Sewa Singh Sekhwan. �
Sukhbir Singh Badal told reporters that he was happy that the Ajnala family had returned to the SAD.
Later, Bony attended a SAD rally led by Badal at Rajasansi in the district. Bony had won two assembly elections as a SAD candidate.
In this rally, Bony alleged that the rebel Akali leaders were aligning directly or indirectly to the Congress policies through some masked elements.
