:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has taken strong notice of the Tiktok video shot by three girls inside the central Sikh shrine Sri Harmandir Sahib. It is learnt that the SGPC has lodged a complaint to Punjab Polices cyber crime wing in this concern.
Mohinder Singh Aahli, who is personal secretary of SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal, has said that such incidents are increasing day by day due to which the devotees get hurt. Netizens are continuously performing such acts violating Sri Darbar Sahibs code of conduct despite installation of cautionary boards, he added.
It is noteworthy here that three girls were seen shooting a video at Golden Temple in Amritsar. The TikTok user has been identified as Kannu. The video features Garry Sandhus song Jee Karda in the background.
Last month, a girl named Akansha Thakur was also seen dancing inside Sri Harmandir Sahib. The SGPC had lodged a complaint against her, but she had apologized later by saying that neither she knew the code of conduct applicable inside Sri Harmandir Sahib nor did anyone stopped her from doing so.
Both are at fault im tired of poeple ruining our sacred gurudwaras atmosphere
Shows very low mindset of today’s youngsters. Parents should teach some basic morals to their kids. They deserve punishment by law as notices are present in Golden Temple.
SGPC is to blame for allowing non-sikh to attack and disrespect Sikhi and various antics to go on at sri harmandir sahib
