The government officials have revealed that the non-Muslim refugees from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan would have to provide proof of religion while applying for citizenship in India under CAA.
On January 27, the government officials revealed that the applicants related to Hindu, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Jain and Persian religion would also have to give proof that they entered in India before December 31, 2014 from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.�
