:dateline:Shaheed Bhai Harminder Singh Sandhu was a close associate of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale. He was seen as a visionary and an intellectual during the early 1980s.
After 1984, Bhai Sandhu, along with other prominent AISSF activists, became target of in-fighting within the Panth, which ultimately benefited the Indian government.
