:dateline:Claiming of cracking the murder mystery of Sikh youth Parvinder Singh within four days, the Peshawar police have claimed that his fianc�e Prem Kumari had orchestrated his killing as she didn�t want to marry him. It is learnt that the Peshawar police arrested Prem Kumari for her alleged involvement in plotting the murder.
It may be recalled here that Parvinder Singh was killed on January 4 by unidentified gunmen. His dead body was recovered from the open fields near Chamakani, a rural area of Peshawar district, on January 5.
The police report claims that Prem Kumari�s marriage was going to get tied in the wedding knot with Parvinder Singh on January 28 but she didn�t want to marry him as she had started liking a Muslim youth, who happened to be the brother of her friend�s.
Prem Kumari promised Rupees 7,00,000 to contract killers for this murder and a part of this committed money was paid in advance, while the rest had to be paid after the murder.
�Prem called Parvinder Singh to Mardan and took him to a home where Prem�s friend with other accomplices killed Singh,� says the police report while adding that the killers shifted the body from Mardan to Peshawar.
Prem Kumari even agreed to convert to marry the Muslim friend, police said, adding that they were trying to arrest the other accused.
Prem�s family lives in Mohalla Sherdad Abad in Mardan district. Her father is a Hindu and mother a Sikh. Parvinder Singh had returned to Pakistan after working in Malaysia for six years.
