dateline:23210 pilgrims paid obeisnce at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib in December last year despite extremely cold weather. Notably, the corridor to Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib was opened on November 9 last year and 11049 pilgrims had reached there same month.
According to an agreement between India and Pakistan, only 5000 pilgrims could go in one day, but this figure could not exceed in the last two months of November and December.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Pakistan government received $464,200 as fee from the 23210 pilgrims who visited Kartarpur in December month. In total, the Pakistan government has received $663,140 during the last two months from the total 34259 pilgrims.
