:dateline:The District Administration of Peshawar has exempted Sikhs from the compulsion of wearing a helmet for driving two wheelers. Notably, the Peshawar district administration has recently made wearing of helmet compulsory for driving two wheelers as per the Traffic Safety Act.
Sharing the development with media, the Peshawari resident Sikh informed that the Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ali Asgar has issued a notification no. 25269-86/D.C. (P)/A.G.-2 which permits Sikhs to drive two wheelers without wearing helmet.
This notification also directs Petrol Pump executives to provide petrol to Sikhs even if they don�t wear helmets.
