CHANDIGARH,Punjab—The annual three day Shaheedi Jor Mela commemorated to the martyrdom of Sahibzada Ajit Singh and Jujhar Singh got concluded on December 23. Hundreds of thousand devotees thronged to Chamkaur Sahib during these three day annual Shaheedi Jor Mela.
A religious procession was taken out in Chamkaur Sahib on the concluding day of this Shaheedi Jor Mela. Starting from Gurdwara Garhi Sahib, the religious procession concluded at Gurdwara Katalgarh Sahib after traversing through various Gurdwaras.
Addressing the gathering of devotees during the religious procession, the acting Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh appealed the Sikh youths adopt Sikh values in their lives by taking inspiration from the great martyrdom of Sahibzada Ajit Singh and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Ji.
Various Gatka teams manifested their martial skills during this religious procession.
