English people reelect two Sikh MPs

LONDON, UK—Two Sikh MPs namely Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi and Preet Kaur Gill have once again  registered victory in the general elections of England held on December 12.

Labor candidate Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi has won the Slough segment by defeating his rival Kanwar Toor Gill by a big margin of 13,700 votes. Dhesi secured 29,421 votes while his rival Conservative candidate Kanwar Toor Gill secured 15,781 votes.

Similarly, Labor party’s candidate Preet Kaur Gill has bagged the Birmigham Edgbaston seat by defeating her rival by a margin of 5504 votes.
