American Sikh arrested while illegally trying to cross border for paying obeisance at Kartarpur

:dateline:On December 6, an American Sikh named Amrit Singh Tiwana was reportedly arrested by the BSF cops deployed in Integrated Check Post of Kartarpur corridor on the Indian side. It is learnt that Amrit Singh Tiwana was trying to cross border to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib without any prior registration. Later, the BSF cops handed him over to the local police.

Sharing the development with media, Dera Baba Nanak’s SHO Daljit Singh Padda informed that Amrit Singh Tiwana reached upto Integrated Check Post without any prior online registration. �On being demanded the registration papers, he started misbehaving with cops after which they arrested him,� he added.
