dateline:On December 4, the martyrdom day of great Sikh martyr Shaheed Bhai Gurbakhsh Singh was observed with great reverence at Gurdwara Shaheed Gurbakhsh Singh situated in Sri Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar.
On this occasion, Bhai Gurwinder Singh and his jatha performed the Gurbani Kirtan after the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib. Bhai Kulwinder Singh performed the Ardaas and Singh Sahib Giani Gurminder Singh read sacred Hukamnama.
Addressing the Sikh sangat, Giani Gurminder Singh said that Baba Gurbakhsh Singh is a great martyr of Sikh nation, who fought with the army of Ahmad Shah Abdali with some of his fellow Singhs to uphold the sanctity of Sri Harmandir Sahib. He further said that young generation should get inspiration from Baba Gurbaksh Singh Ji’s martyrdom.
On this occasion manager of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib S. Jaswinder Singh Dinpur, speaker of SGPC S. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas, Deputy secretary S. Sakkater Singh, In-charge S. Balwinder Singh Khairabad, S. Gurnam Singh, Aditional manager S. Sukhraj Singh, S. Iqbal Singh Mukhi, S. Jaspal Singh Dhade, S. Malkit Singh beharwal assistant superintendent were also present along with Sangat.
