SGPC’s senior vice president Rajinder Singh Mehta says that the modern digital techniques work in a wonderful way if taken in a right perspective.

Recalling the success of animation movie Chaar Sahibzaade, Mehta believes that encouragement should be given to make more such films of religious episodes especially the four Udasis (journeys) of Guru Nanak Sahib.

“The religious preachment goals will have a wider reach, especially among the new generation through animated technology,” he says while endorsing the use of animation technology.

It is noteworthy here that a wider section of Sikh community also strongly objects over the representation of historic Sikh characters especially of Sikh masters in any form.
