Bus service begins to commute pilgrims from Dera Baba Nanak to Kartarpur corridor

:dateline:Amid emerging reports about no transportation facility for the pilgrims from Dera Baba Nanak to Kartarpur corridor terminal, the Transport Department of Punjab has launched a bus service to commute pilgrims in between Dera Baba Nanak and Kartarpur corridor terminal.

Sharing the development with media, Transport Minister Razia Sultana informed that the bus service got operational from November 23.

“The service will start from the Dera Baba Nanak bus stand at 8.45 am and reach the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor entry point at 9 am. In the evening, a bus will commute the pilgrims from the corridor to the bus stand at 5.15 pm,” she said in a statement here.

�Depending on the number of passengers, the frequency of the bus service would be increased,� she said. �

Meanwhile, it is also learnt that the Punjab Roadways has also been directed to deploy some buses to commute pilgrims from some major cities to Dera Baba Nanak.
