550th Birthday Celebrations: SGPC invites Uttarakhand CM TS Rawat for November 12’s main program

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On November 1, the senior vice president of SGPC Raghujit Singh Virk gave an invitation to the Uttarakhand’s CM Trivendra Singh Rawat for attending the main program pertaining to the 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to be held in Sultanpur Lodhi on November 12. Notably, the SGPC is hosting this main program of the birthday celebrations at Guru Nanak Stadium, which is 100 meters away from Gurdwara Ber Sahib, in Sultanpur Lodhi.

Sharing the development with media, SGPC secretary Avtar Singh Sainpla informed that the Uttarakhand’s CM Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed commitment to attend this historic function. He added that TS Rawat has also congratulated the sangat on this historic eve.

It is noteworthy here that the SGPC is inviting prominent political personalities of India to attend the main program to be held at Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib (Sultanpur Lodhi) on November 12 in commemoration of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Till date, he has invited the India’s PM Narendra Modi and chief ministers of several other states.
