550th Birthday Celebrations: Pakistan releases commemorative coin of Rupees 50

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Commemorated to the 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the federal government of Pakistan has launched a coin of Rupees 50 containing an inscription of Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib on its one side. 

“Pakistan issues commemorative coin to mark the 550th anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji,the founder of Sikh religion,” wrote Pakistani PM Imran Khan from his social media accounts while sharing the image of this new coin.

Similarly, the image of this new coin has also been shared from the social media accounts of Pakistan government.

It is pertinent to note here that the Pakistan government is also going to open the Kartarpur corridor for the Sikh pilgrims residing in India on November 9.
