:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has today begun Kaar Sewa of the historic entrance gate situated on the left side of supreme Sikh throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Notably, this historic Darshani Deodi still has the marks of bullets fired by the Indian army during the June-1984 holocaust.
The SGPC has assigned the Kaar Sewa of this historic Darshani Deodi to the Kaar Sewa sect headed by Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wala.
Inaugurating the Kaar Sewa, SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal said that this historic Darshani Deodi will be covered with glass fixed in steel frames. �This will help in reducing the infiltration of rain water into this historic Darshani Deodi,� he added.
Longowal further informed that the history of June-1984 holocaust will also be portrayed on this Darshani Deodi so that the next generations could get information about this brutal armed attack carried out by the Indian army on sanctum sanctorum Sri Harmandir Sahib.
SGPC�s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh informed that this Kaar Sewa will get completed within three months.
�We have begun this Kaar Sewa after consulting the technical experts,� he said while adding that Sikhs can never forget the June-1984 holocaust.

Were they sleeping since 1984? It is being done at this stage as Gurudwara elections are nearing in and Badal does not want to loose its control from Gurudwaras and its money. The Sikhs have already removed him out of power due to sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib ji. Under presssue from Indira Gandhi, they wasted no time after the so called Operation and rebuilt the Akal Takht whereas they were proposed by many Sikh bodies to preserve it in glass to show the real character of Indian army and govt. to the world. They not only rebuilt the Akal Takht but even changed gold of Darbar Sahib and covered the bullet marks. They are saying that they did not have the money to preserve it so how they got the Akal Takht rebuilt and gold of Darbar Sahib changed. It is all the money donated by the devotees which they misused for their own personal use and their own political purpose.
