:dateline:Addressing the weekly press meet October 10, the spokesperson of Pakistan’s foreign ministry Mr. Mohammad Faisal said that he was not sure about the inauguration date of Kartarpur corridor as no date has been fixed yet. However, he maintained that the entire corridor work will be furnished by time. �
It is may be recalled here that Atif Majid, the Project Director of Kartarpur corridor, had earlier stated that the Kartarpur corridor will be opened for Indian Sikh devotees on November 9.
On September 16, he had said that 86% construction work of Kartarpur corridor was complete.
With the opening of Kartarpur corridor, the Sikh devotees residing in India will have visa-free access to Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib where Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent last two decades of his life.
