Sidhu Moosewala under fire for using Mai Bhago’s name in his new song; Sikh activists lodge police complaint

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala has come under fire for using the name of Mata Bhag Kaur aka Mai Bhago in his unreleased song in a highly objectionable manner. This song belongs to a new Punjabi movie named “Ardab Mutiyaran” which is set to hit screens worldwide on October 18.

As soon as the trailer of this movie surfaced over YouTube today, the audio file of this controversial song sung by Sidhu Moosewala also got leaked and viral over social.

A sharp outrage has erupted among Sikh masses after hearing this song as a modernized apostate girl has been portrayed as a descendant of Mata Bhag Kaur in this song. Further, the song also dubs the same character of the girl as a gun of Jeona Morh.

As the public outrage started surfacing over social media, Sidhu Moosewala shared an apologizing video while claiming innocence. He claimed that he didn’t do it intentionally so he should be forgiven.
