:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has expressed concern over the recent reports about missing of several crucial files related to murder and dacoity incidents occurred in Kanpur during the 1984 Sikh genocide.

SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal has said that what could be worse than it that crucial files related to serious crime incidents occurred in 1984 Sikh genocide have gone missing from the government records. Demanding investigation into the matter, he has sought action against the responsible culprits.
Kanpur was the second worst affected city after Delhi during the 1984 Sikh genocide where more than a hundred innocent Sikhs lost their lives, he said while appealing the UP government to take strong notice of this incident.
What exactly did SGPC do to document all cases of Sikh massacre in Delhi and other places?Did they ask Badals to inquire into Khalra’s disappearance? In fact,SGPC itsekf is reported to have sold away many pieces of heritage.Hypocracy par excellence.
