:dateline:The mortal remains of renowned Indian lawyer Ram Jethmalani were today consigned to flames at the Lodhi Road crematorium in New Delhi amid presence eminent political personalities including pro-freedom Sikh leader Simranjit Singh Mann. His son Mahesh Jethmalani, a senior advocate himself, lit the funeral pyre at 5:30 p.m.
Notably, Jethmalani had passed away this morning at around 07:45 am.
People from various walks of life paid rich tributes to him and attended the last journey of the 95-year-old advocate.
Extending condolences to Ram Jethamalani�s son Mahesh Jethmalani, Simranjit Singh Mann encouraged him to follow the path enlightened by his father for the well-being of humanity.
