Book penned on 100 Sikh freedom fighters released at Sri Akal Takht Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Penned by SYFB leader Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal, a book named “Tvareekh Shaheed-e-Khalistan” was released at Sri Akal Takht Sahib amid echoes of Sikh ovation on August 31. It is learnt that the life stories of 100 Sikh freedom fighters have been published in this 512 page book beside some important documents.

Sikh leaders Bhai Daljit Singh Bittu, Bhai Kanwarpal Singh, Bhai Narain Singh Chaura, Bhai Mandhir Singh, Bhai Sarabjit Singh Ghuman presented the first copy of this book to the family members of Shaheed General Shabegh Singh, Shaheed Bhai Dilawar Singh, Shaheed Bhai Surjit Singh Painta and Shaheed Bhai Satnam Singh Chhina.

The book contains the messages by Sarbat Khalsa appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara, Dal Khalsa’s founder Bhai Gajinder Singh and SAD (Amritsar) president Simranjit Singh Mann in which they have hailed the efforts of Bhai Ranjit Singh Damdami Taksal to document the history of Sikh martyrs.

SYFB president Bhai Balwant Singh Gopala, SAD (Amritsar) leader Harbir Singh Sandhu, SYP president Paramjit Singh Mand, AKJ president Bhai Bakhshish Singh, UAD leader Bhai Mohkam Singh, Sikh intellectual Baljit Singh Khalsa, Khalsa Fatehnama’s editor Ranjit Singh Amritsar, Punjab Singh Sultanwind, Paramjit Singh Akali, Satnam Singh Jhanjian, Baldev Singh Sirsa, Advocate Jaspal Singh Manjhpur etc. were also present on this occasion.
