Pakistan announces to open Kartarpur corridor on September 11; Ask Sikh masses to get ready

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The Federal government of Pakistan has announced to open the much awaited corridor to Pakistan on September 11. Earlier, the corridor was expected to be opened in November this year, but the Pakistan government has surprised the Sikh masses by completing the corridor project two months before the fixed time.

“Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Pakistan government was ready to open Kartarpur corridor on the occasion of the 480th death anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. He has appealed the Sikhs residing all over the world to get ready to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib where Guru Nanak Sahib spent last two decades of his life,” reported India’s mainstream channel ABP Sanjha without disclosing the source of information.
