UP police beats up Sikh man trying to cross queue to get token for his serious child in Sitapurs District Hospital

:dateline:During past days, a Sikh named Sukhdev Singh was reportedly beaten up by the Uttar Pradesh police when he tried to get a token for his child, who was in extremely serious condition, by breaking the queue in the District Hospital of Sitapur. It is learnt that the cops deployed in the Qotwali of Khair town (Sitapur) brutally thrashed him for breaking the queue.

Strongly condemning the incident, the SGPCs chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh informed that the polices action in this concern cant be justified under any circumstances. He demanded that the guilty cops should be brought to justice so that no one could dare in the future to commit such an offence.

He further informed that the SGPC has assigned duty of reporting on this issue from ground zero to Brijpal Singh, who heads the Sikh Mission (Happar). Such incidents make the Sikhs feel alienated in this country, he said.
