:dateline:On August 9, thousands of Kashmiri people came out in the streets of Srinagar after offering prayers to the Almighty Lord. They staged the largest demonstration against their oppression by the Indian state since the imposition of lockdown on them.
The police opened firing on the Kashmiri people and also used tear gas to disperse their unity.
Although the Indian government has denied the fact and claimed that the protest never took place, but a recent video of this firing has surfaced over social media. �
