:dateline:Strongly opposing the Indian governments move of scrapping Article 370 to terminate special status of J&K, the Chinese government has said that the Indias move is totally unacceptable and it wont have any legal effect on the issue of Kashmir.
Hua Chunying, the spokesperson of Chinas Foreign Ministry, today said that the recent move of India undermines the Chinas territorial sovereignty.
Urging India to be cautious on border issues, she asked India to strictly abide by the agreements reached by both countries in order to avoid any actions that would further complicate boundary issues.
It is noteworthy here that the disputed region of J&K is divided between India, which rules the populous Kashmir Valley and the Hindu-dominated region around Jammu city, Pakistan, which controls a wedge of territory in the west, and China, which holds a thinly populated high-altitude area in the north.
