:dateline:The Sikh community doesn�t ever step back from helping the needy and meek ones, especially the victims of natural disaster. A UK based charitable Sikh outfit named Khalsa Aid has made the entire Sikh community feel proud by serving the victims of natural disasters worldwide and the refugees in Syria.
This time, the apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has extended a helping hand to the victims who have to vacate their homes due to breakage in the Ghaggar river embankment. The SGPC is helping the victims by organizing langars from Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvi Dhamdhaan Sahib and Gurdwara Makorad Sahib.
Similarly, the SGPC is also organizing langars from Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib for the victims of Patiala.
The langar is also being sent to the people working day & night to repair the breakage in the Ghaggar river embankment. �
