Rapper Hard Kaur openly comes forward in support of SFJ’s “Referendum 2020” campaign

LONDON, England (UK)—UK based Punjabi rapper Taran Kaur Dhillon alias Hard Kaur has openly started supporting the “Referendum 2020” campaign being run by the US based rights body ‘Sikhs for Justice’ to establish an independent Sikh state in Punjab. Notably, Hard Kaur was booked under sedition charges last month for her social media posts on Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

In multiple videos posted last week, Hard Kaur could be seen supporting the “Referendum 2020” campaign and urging the people to vote for a sovereign Sikh state Khalistan. In two videos posted on her Instagram account, she could also be seen wearing a T-shirt with wording ‘Punjab Referendum 2020 Khalistan’ printed on it.

She has shared songs sung by the Sikh balladeer Tarsem Singh Moranwali in praise of the great Sikh of 20th century Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa Bhindranwale.

Interestingly, she also tagged the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Badal in her posts.

It is pertinent to note here that the Indian government had banned ‘Sikhs for Justice’ on July 10 after the supporters of SFJ’s campaign “Referendum 2020” shouted pro-freedom slogans in the semi-final match between India and New Zealand at Edgbaston (UK) on July 9.
