Captain asks Advocate General of Punjab to scrutinize legal aspects of Bargari related sacrilege cases

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—On July 17, the Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh clarified that his government is committed to take investigation of Bargari related sacrilege cases to a logical conclusion. It is learnt that he has directed the Advocate General of Punjab to scrutinize all the legal aspects of Bargari case.

Taking on Sukhbir Badal for showing empathy on sacrilege cases, Captain said that Sukhbir Badal is trying to befool common masses of Punjab. He added that Sukhbir Badal had himself handed over the investigation of these three cases to CBI, but now he is trying to challenge the closure report of the same agency.
