:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has invited Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the main function to be held in commemoration of the 550th birthday anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji at Gurdwara Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi on November 12 this year. SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal personally gave this invitation to Narendra Modi at the PM office in New Delhi.
SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, senior Akali leader Balwinder Singh Bhoondarh, DSGMC president Manjinder Singh Sirsa and the president of Takht Sri Patna Sahib�s management committee Avtar Singh Hit were also present on this occasion.
SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal informed that the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has admired the programs being organized by the SGPC in commemoration of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and has accepted the invitation to attend the main event on November 12, 2019.
He said that the PM Modi has termed this historic eve as a unique event for the whole world.
