180th Death Anniversary: Sikh Pilgrims Warmly Welcomed in Pakistan

:dateline:More than 400 Sikh pilgrims today arrived in Pakistan by crossing the Indo-Pak border via Attari-Wagah border station in a special train to mark the 180th death anniversary of Sher-e-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

The Sikh pilgrims, who were headed by SGPC�s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh, Gurmeet Singh Booh, Parwinder Singh and Manmohan Singh Bhatia, were warmly welcomed by the ETPB and PSGPC officials with flower bouquets at Wagah railway station.

The Pakistani officials also showered flower petals on Sikh pilgrims to give them an affectionate welcome treat.

ETPB�s Secretary Takiq Khan Wazir, Deputy Secretary (Shrines) Imran gaundal, Mubashar Hussain, Atiq Gilani, Azhar Abbas, PSGPC�s former president Tara Singh, Bishan Singh, Amrik Singh, Tarlok Singh, Gurwinder Singh etc. were present on this occasion. ��
