550th Birthday Celebrations: Modi and Shah invited to attend religious procession from Delhi to Nankana Sahib

NEW DELHI, India—On June 13, the Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) president Paramjit Singh Sarna wrote a letter to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah inviting them  to attend the religious procession to be taken out from Delhi to Nankana Sahib in commemoration of the 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on August 28.

Sarna has informed that the Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi) has got approval from the Pakistan government for this religious procession to be taken out from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib (Delhi) to Gurdwara Janam Asthan Sri Nankana Sahib during the 550th birthday celebrations.

He further informed that more than 2000 devotees will be able to visit the Sikh shrines in Pakistan in this religious procession.
