:dateline:Fatehveer, a three year old boy who was trapped in a 150-foot-deep bore-well for over 110 hours in Punjab’s Sangrur district, was finally rescued during the wee hours today. Latest developments reveal that he was taken to PGI, Chandigarh where the doctors declared him brought dead. �
It may be recalled here that Fatehveer Singh had fallen into the unused seven-inch wide bore-well in a field around 4 pm on Thursday (June 6) when he was playing near his house in Bhagwanpura village in Sangrur area.
A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) assisted by police, civil authorities, villagers and volunteers, were carrying out the rescue operation amid. Some volunteers were also extending help in this operation.
