Fatehveer’s Dead Body Cremated; Post Mortem Report Says He Had Died Few Days Back

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The rescued dead body of three years old toddler Fatehveer was today cremated amid presence of thousands of his sympathizers in his native village Bhagwanpura of Sangrur district. Notably, the administration had today rescued Fatehveer during the wee hours and he was immediately taken to the Advanced Pediatric Centre PGI Chandigarh where the doctors had declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the post mortem report of Fatehveer’s reveals that he had died a few days back.

Sources have informed that a panel of doctors, comprising Dr YS Bansal and Dr Senthil Kumar from the Department of Forensic Medicine at the PGIMER, conducted the post-mortem examination and a detailed report is being prepared by the doctors.

“On admission, he had no pulse, no respiration and no cardiac activity, hence, the child was declared brought in dead,” informed the doctors who first received Fatehveer for treatment at PGI, Chandigarh.

It has also come to fore that the PGI doctors have clarified that Fatehveer had died due to Hypoxia (insufficient availability of oxygen) around 3 or 4 days ago.
