PICTORIAL: Thousands of Sikhs mark 35th anniversary of 1984 Holocaust at Sri Akal Takht Sahib

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—A large gathering of Sikhs was observed today at the supreme Sikh throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib on the eve of the 35th anniversary of 1984 holocaust. Despite an environment of panic created by the Indian state with deployment of paramilitary forces in the holy city Amritsar Sahib, thousands of Sikhs gathered at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to pay tribute to the martyrs of the June-1984 holocaust.
