SGPC inaugurates new building of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Ghat in Ujjain       

 CHANDIGARH, Punjab—The new building of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Ghat situated in the Ujjain city of Madhya Pradesh was inaugurated by the Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib’s Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh and SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal on June 3 amid the presence of several other Sikh personalities. Notably, the Kaar Sewa sect headed by Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale has completed the Kaar Sewa of this building with the support of Sikh sangat.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, SGPC president Gobind Singh Longowal said that the inauguration of a new building of this historic Gurdwara Sahib was an auspicious eve. He hailed the volunteer services offered by the Kaar Sewa sect Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale.

SGPC appointed Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh also addressed the gathering on this occasion and inspired the Sikh sangat to celebrate the 550th birthday of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji with full enthusiasm.

Hazoori Raagi Jathas of Sri Harmandir Sahib performed melodious Kirtan during this program and Dhadi Jathas shed light on Sikh history.

Singh Sahibans and Baba Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale were specially honored in this program.
