Now, Sukhbir Badal Pays Homage to Martyrs of June-1984’s Holocaust

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—For the first time in history, the Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Badal has paid tribute to the Sikh martyrs of 1984 holocaust who had sacrificed their lives while defending the supreme Sikh throne Sri Akal Takht Sahib. But his statement didn’t come as a surprise for the Sikh community as everyone is aware that it is the impact of day by day declining graph of Badal clan among Sikhs.

“The army attack carried out on the sacred Sri Akal Takht Sahib on June 4, 1984 at the behest of the then Congress government was the third holocaust on Sikh community. I pay homage to all the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for defending the amour propre and respect of Sri Akal Takht Sahib,” Sukhbir Badal wrote from his social media accounts while posting a photo of demolished Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
