Dal Khalsa and SAD (Amritsar) Collaborate to Conduct “Genocide Remembrance Parade” on June 5

CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Unlike previous years, the pro-freedom Sikh outfits SAD (Amritsar) and Dal Khalsa have announced to collaboratively conduct the “Genocide Remembrance Parade” in commemoration of the June-1984’s holocaust on June 5. The SAD (Amritsar) and Dal Khalsa leaders today made this announcement in Dal Khalsa’s head office in Amritsar Sahib.

It is pertinent to note here that the duo Sikh bodies dissent over contesting elections under the Indian regime despite fighting for the common cause.

Interacting with the media on this occasion, SAD (Amritsar) general secretary Amrik Singh Ballowal said that they have decided to join Dal Khalsa’s march to channelize the Sikh strength which gets segregated when the Sikh bodies take out their separate marches.

“The march would start from Gurdwara Sahib of Ranjit Avenue and will conclude at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to perform prayer in memory of those who perished during the army assault,” he informed while adding that his party president Simranjit Singh Mann will also join the march.

Dal Khalsa leaders Satnam Singh Paonta Sahib, Kanwarpal Singh, SYP leader Paramjit Singh, SAD (Amritsar) leader Navdeep Singh Amritsar etc. were present on this occasion.
