:dateline:Keeping in view the 550th birthday celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji , the Punjab cabinet ministers Vijay Inder Singla and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa took an observation of the ongoing work of Kartarpur corridor at Dera Baba Nanak on June 1. On this occasion, the duo ministers also had glimpses of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib through the binoculars installed at Indo-Pak border.
Addressing a press conference at the local rest house, the PWD minister Singla said that all the four state highways coming from Fatehgarh Churian, Batala and Ramdas to Dera Baba Nanak will be widened before the 550th birthday celebrations due in November this year. �The entire work would be completed by September 30,� he added.
On this occasion, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa said that the government was making sincere efforts so that no pilgrim should face any kind of problem during the 550th birthday celebrations. He further said that this town will be developed as a beautiful town.
