CHANDIGARH, Punjab—Accusing the SIT member IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh of playing in the hands of Congress, the SAD president Sukhbir Badal has challenged IG Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh to arrest him. He has said that if Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh should arrest him, if he possesses enough dare.
Interacting with the media in Faridkot, Sukhbir Badal said that he was being falsely framed in the sacrilege and firing cases. He was here to join the sit-in-strike outside Faridkot SSP’s office seeking justice in extra-judicial murder of youth Jaspal Singh.
It may be recalled here that the Special Investigation Team has termed the sacrilege and firing incidents as a pre-planned handiwork of the Ex-Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal, Ex-DGP Sumedh Saini and the Sirsa cult in a chargesheet filed in the Kotkapura firing case on May 28.
