Manjit Singh GK expelled from Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal)

:dateline:The former DSGMC president Manjit Singh GK was reportedly expelled from the Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) on May 25 for raising questions about the bad performance of the party in recently held parliamentary polls. The move came after the recommendation by core committee of the SADs Delhi unit on May 24.

SAD parliamentarian Balwinder Singh Bhoondarh has confirmed the expulsion of Manjit Singh GK.

It is pertinent to note here that the core committee of Shiromani Akali Dals Delhi unit had passed resolutions about the monetary scams occurred during the tenure of Manjit Singh GK in DSGMC on May 24. Reacting to these resolutions, GK had said that it was a deliberate attempt to tarnish his image.

Meanwhile, GK has reacted to his expulsion by saying that those who have been rejected by the Panth dont possess any ability to expel him from the Shiromani Akali Dal. He has said that it was funny that the core committee of the SADs Delhi unit, which was dissolved much earlier, has recommended his expulsion from the party.

GK has said that he had already resigned from all the party posts as well as its basic membership on December 7 last year.
