SGPC Expresses Deep Grief Over Demise of AISSF’s Chief Founder Dr. Santokh Singh

:dateline:The apex Sikh body Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhik Committee has expressed deep grief over the demise of AISSF’s chief founder Dr. Santokh Singh. Notably, 96 years old Dr. Santokh Singh had passed away on May 18.

In a press note shared with Sikh24, the SGPC’s chief secretary Dr. Roop Singh has said that Dr. Santokh Singh was an institution in himself who developed leadership skills in the Sikh youths. “He encouraged and steered the Sikh youths to contribute in Sikh politics and social service,” he added.

Dr. Roop Singh further said that Dr. Santokh Singh was also an eye specialist who taught lessons of medical education to renowned doctors like Dr. Daljit Singh. “Dr. Santokh Singh always thought for the high morale of Sikhism,” he said while terming his demise as a big loss for the Sikh community. �

Extending condolences to the family members of Dr. Santokh Singh, Dr. Roop Singh has said that the SGPC is committed to stand with the aggrieved family in every moment of sorrow and happiness.
